Authors POV

It was late already so Axel decided that he would drive Tracy to his house, she would pass the night there and return to her house the next day.

After allocating her to a room that looked 3 times like her room, he left Hazel’s room.

“Momma.” he breathed out softly and handed her the glass of juice in his hand, after taking a seat close to her on the bed.

She reached out to it with shaky hands and gulped down a small potion before returning the cup to a table.

Hazel adjusted into the duvet as she continued to stare fearfully at Axel.

There was something much different about the Axel she saw a while ago, having a gun with him frightened her, but being able to kill without empathy made her want to see him as a murderer and Axel could read every bit of her thoughts from the scary look on her face.
