Authors POV

Axel walked down the stairs, his legs halted as he got closer to Alexia and Alex. They were having a happy moment.

She was currently in his warm embrace, pouting her mouth like something was happening.

Axel melted at the beautiful sight of them.

He loved it, even though he didn’t want Alex as his sister’s man, he was glad that she was happy.

He wanted his sister with someone wealthier, perhaps not wealthier than him, but someone whom he didn’t have to pass commands. And now that it didn’t happen that way, he would never jeopardize his sister’s happiness.

Alex is his best friend and the only brother he grew to have, so it was safe. He just hated that they couldn’t always have their time without him barging in on them to take Alex away.

He took a step closer and cleared his throat in a way that they all knew he was behind them.

Alexia swiftly pulled away from Alex, turning to Axel.
