Chapter 10. Shocked Beyond Words

Mia's POV

People have believed in the legend that wishing upon a shooting star makes the wish come true for a long time. I never believed in such myths, I never believed in any myths at all. I never even wished upon a shooting star, I just said a few words in my heart. I only said the wishing words in my heart, I never said it out loud and I never wished on a shooting star. 

How on earth can this be happening to me?

They say drinking to excess can cause you to fall asleep more easily or even to black out. That is exactly what happened to me. The sex and alcohol were like sedatives to me, I fell asleep like a baby, relishing the warmth he provided, and I kept wishing to be in his arms forever. I only woke up when my bladder signaled to my brain that I needed to pee. I tried getting off the bed to run to the restroom and ease my discomfort, but I was held in a firm grip by a gorgeous stranger that made my first time a memorable one.
