I heard thunder from afar, and at that exact moment, I heard a faint voice, which I listened to and felt a thrill of hope.

"Yesha! Where are you?" I heard someone calling my name, but it was much louder this time, and I knew it was Xavier.

"I'm here!" My voice trembled from the cold, so I yelled as loudly as possible.

"Stay right there; I'll come to get you!" He yelled back.

He kept talking, encouraging me to make sure I was aware of his presence.

When I finally saw him, it felt like an eternity had passed; now that he was only a few steps away, my fear had vanished. Still, I couldn't find the strength to move as I stared at him for some reason.

"God! I thought something awful had happened to you," he whispered as he closed the gap between us, enveloping me in his embrace.

Even though we were both drenched, just being held by this man provided me with relief.
