Chapter 30

It was around two o'clock when I was awoken by Xavier's knocking, so I immediately stood up and opened the door.
"Get ready, we will be leaving after thirty minutes," he said, and then left.
I did what he told me to do, and since I didn't know exactly where he was going to take me, I opted to wear comfortable clothes.
We traveled into the dense forest, and I tried to keep up with his stride, but his long legs made it difficult for me to catch up to him.
He was carrying a picnic basket in his right hand and leading the way to where he wanted to show me.
I felt tired as we continued walking, and it had been over an hour since we left the house until we eventually arrived at a twin tree with a lot of vines.
"This is great," I remarked awkwardly, but Xavier only smiled and, to my amazement, entered the vines.
