Chapter 93. I Shouldn't Have, But I Did

"My Mom is…" Arianna was saying when Richard arrived. "Sorry buddies," he said and kissed Genesis' chin. A kiss of apology.

"Chase Hudson" Senator Adrian Delmark welcomed him. Chase drew closer and congratulated the Senator and his wife.

He planted a featherlight kiss on Arianna's and Gene's temple before saying hello to the men.

The dinner was sumptuous. On the way home, Arianna was chiming excitedly. She's glad she finally got to meet the Senator. He was exactly as Genesis described him and much more friendly.
