Lisa's POV

I could feel the stinging of Alex's silver chains all over my body.

"Like I said before, Lisa, everything will be found out eventually." She sighs, before turning back towards Sebastian's house.

Glancing over to the tree where Sebastian fell, my blood runs cold. He is no longer there and in his place stands eerie black figures. I do not let anyone know of my surprise. He may have gotten away. I can only pray to the Goddess that he will bring us help before this King, whoever he is, can take me away.

I turn my attention onto Alex and frown. There are large red welts running up and down his arms, blood leaking from a cut above his eye. He was staring at the ground with murder in his eyes. His canines scraped against his lower lip, drawing more blood to the surface.

As if he felt my eyes on him, he glances over in my direction. I watch as he pushes himself to calm down. He knew that he was frightening me, but not in the same way
