Only One - 7. Gary Died

Alysse's POV

I find myself in the middle of the crowd in the vast garden of Sebastian's mansion. Sebastian is nowhere to be seen. His asshole beta is the one giving orders. No wonder Valerie is in trouble.

Everyone stared at me in utter shock and disbelief.

"Stop it. What's going on here?" I shouted at Gary who smirkes as he walk towards me. "It's the runaway luna." He mocked at me while some laughed with him.

"Where is the alpha?" I asked him furiously seeing Valerie in the middle of the pile of dry woods.

"He's away for a business trip and will return tonight. Until then I am in charge." He prised himself.

I then looked at the guards and ordered them to release Valerie this instant. Since I am their luna, they obeyed and went to clear the woods.

Gary and his aids blocked their way. Gary then came forward and smirked at me. "I am in charge her. She will be burned. She deserves to die."
