Chapter 17. Mrs. Hudson in the Office

Diva was working from home. After all, she hated going to the office. She shoved a spoonful of pastry in her mouth and continued editing. She was a chief editor, so she had many articles to edit and also assigned others their assignments.

Besides, with Lina being in the hospital, Diva was really bored and had nothing to do but complete her tasks. Lina was supposed to be discharged today later on.

When a phone rang, it diverted Diva’s attention. She checked the caller ID.

Blaze

Blaze is calling me at this hour. Something is wrong, she thought to herself.

She took a deep breath and received the call. “Hey! What’s up?”

“I left an important file. Hand it to the driver I sent,” he spoke at once.

Diva furrowed her eyebrows. She asked him, “And what should I do?”

“Hand it to the driver I sent,” he repeated.

“Okay.” Diva got up and further inquired, “Where is the file? I wonder how Blaze Hudson can forget such an important file.”
