Isabel stared alarmed at Emily without responding back, and the gift in her hand was tightened.

Emily smiled shyly and coaxed her softly.

"You're a good girl, I made you something tonight. I hope you like it."

Under a happy smile, Isabel blinked and asked naively, "Did you put poison or anesthetics in the food?"

Even Elly was startled by her question.

Housekeeper Gillian was shocked and hurriedly reached out his hand again and tried to hold her.

"Auntie there is not a witch. Why would she put poison in her food?"

Behind the problem, Emily's fingers tried to grab Isabel's arm, but the child leaned sideways and made her grasp the pink doll. Emily pounced on it, threw the toy on the ground, rolling twice.

Dumbfounded, Isabel ran to pick it up with a broken heart, tears streaming down her face.

Emily explained quickly, "I don't mean it. I'll buy you another toy."

Elly was quiet when the toy was tossed towa
