Chapter 49. Embracing Me

Alex tapped his finger on the table and asked comfortably. "Tell me the reason, why are you late?"

She thought of John's mother but simply explained. "Sir, I just woke up late."

"Isn't it because you live too far from the company?" Alex squinted. "If you stay in the hotel, you definitely can't be late. You moved to John's house, right?

 "Yes. But the reason for my tardiness is that I overslept." She stubbornly argued.

Alex's face turned frightening after receiving her affirmative answer. The breath around him was heavy and cold, and his eyes were fierce.

"Take this document to the secretary Leon." It was not the first time he saw her stubbornness, he frustratingly changed the topic.
