He recalled how his heart skipped a beat or two when he saw his bride coming towards him for Jaimala with a veil that obscured her features. But the next very moment his heart clenched, knowing that behind that veil was not the woman he had loved, but her younger sister, Tami.

Now she was standing in his room anger simmered beneath the surface as he approached her, his footsteps heavy with the weight of his emotions.

She turned to look at him as soon as she felt that he had come in. Her heart was beating very fast.
