They went home after that excited about the party.

Tami went out to go back to her department for her duty, I went after her as I needed to talk to her.

"Tami, can we talk?" I asked, my voice softer this time.

She looked hesitant but nodded. "Okay."

We stepped aside and went to a secluded place, I took a deep breath. "I'm sorry, Tami. I let my emotions get the better of me. Seeing Gauravi and Shlok brought back a lot of pain, but that doesn't excuse how I treated you. But you got me wrong, I realized my mistake immediately and when I said, it was a mistake, I meant to say that it was a mistake, that I expected you to break ties with them."
