"I never stop you from leaving the hospital and joining your family business. This is my work and I want to decide on my work and career." I said firmly.

"Okay!!" He shrugged.

"Can we leave? If you want to stay here, it's okay, I can go with Siddh." I said as I just did not want to be alone with him.

"No, I have some work as well. Let's go!" Mihir said in a hard tone.

Mihir and I walked over to his car, and I noticed a flicker of discomfort in his eyes when Parshav mentioned the seminar.

"Do you really have to go to the seminar with him?" He asked.

"Mihir, It is a very good opportunity to attend it. I want to attend it."

"Yeah, it sounds like a great opportunity," Mihir said, trying to sound enthusiastic.

"I'm really looking forward to it," I said, smiling up at Mihir. "It'll be a good experience."

He squeezed my hand, a gesture that surprised me. "I'm sure it will be. Just…be careful, okay?"
