Chapter 279
Tami's POV
Another long day came to an end. Ever since Mihir realized his mistake, Mihir has been making efforts to make it as comfortable as possible. I was in the third month of my pregnancy, and Mihir tried to comfort me with thoughtful gifts. I appreciated the effort, but I didn't accept the gifts as it wasn't enough to mend our fractured relationship.
Each morning, he sent my favorite breakfast items, and flowers, mindful of my aversions and cravings. He ensured I had the best care. He even went out of his way to get a dish I loved from a very popular food joint, where he must have waited in a long queue in there to get it. Then he left it for me, with a note:
