As the sun set, we all gathered around a bonfire, roasting marshmallows and telling stories. The kids were fascinated by the tales of our past, and we enjoyed reliving those moments.

My dad shared a story about how he used to get annoyed with Mom following him and her brother, and he even hated her.

"Yes, you hated her so much that you introduced her to all of us as just a family friend." Uncle Gautam teased my parents.

"And you dared to propose to her."

"I proposed just a family friend of yours, not your wife. It was your fault."

"Well, you should be thankful to them, as they were the reason we came closer." Aunty Maurvi said.

"Oh, yes, I am still thankful to you for that as I got my Maurvi because of that." Uncle Gautam said placing his arm around her.
