Gauravi's POV

I took another step but it didn't land back at the right place, I lost my balance and landed in the middle of the river on my back.

I surfaced coughing and choking on the water, blinded by the strands of my hair. Just then he came and dragged me to my feet.

"You fool, can't you simply follow my instructions?" He scolded me.

"No!!" I pushed my hair away from my eyes.

"Why do you always have to do just the opposite of what I say?" He asked.

"I will not follow your instructions!!" I said in a fit of anger that was panting up inside me.

"Why? It is not difficult. Try to learn at least from now on…" He said with a smile as if he was waiting to remind me again that I was a worthless person and a very bad companion.
