Chapter 11

Gautam’s POV

I got a call from Prachi saying that I must come to Maurvi’s place as there is something wrong with Maurvi. I asked her what happened, but she said that she can’t explain like that. I rushed outside to go to her place. I rang the doorbell. Prachi opened it immediately. I got inside quickly.

“Now tell me what happened? Where is she?” Prachi pointed towards the drawing room. I almost ran there and saw her standing there with a cake in her hand. I released my breath which I didn’t even realize I was holding.

“Happy Birthday…” She said shyly.

She remembered my birthday, made a cake for me and is giving a surprise to me. It is my best birthday surprise.

I wanted to take her in my arms and kiss her.

“Hello… she said something to you.” Prachi teased me. I just smiled and walked towards her. Took the cake from her hands and placed it on the table. I drew her in my arms and kissed her on her head. Her hair was as soft as silk.
