Sia’s POV

“Thank you, Mr Kapoor and Sumit beta for standing up for my daughter. My daughter, Sia is my pride… We have given her the best of values. I believe in her. She faced a lot… I don’t think we should stay here anymore.” Dad said biting every word.

“Uncle, please stay. I apologise on behalf of my cousin.” Sumit Ji said.

“No beta… Please don’t do that. I really thank you for your support. But it is not just about what he did or said. Please try and understand… God bless you.” My dad patted him on the back and smiled at him.

He started walking and chachu tried to stop dad.

“Bhai sahib please don’t go like this… Please at least think…”

“Don’t say another word… I can’t stay here after what happened today. Please enjoy the engagement of your daughter. May God bless her… Sumit is a very mature, understanding and good-natured man.” my dad said.
