Samar’s POV

I was really very excited as it was the day of our engagement. I got ready and was waiting for the watch to strike 11 AM as the auspicious time for the engagement was 11:30 AM. It was just 10. The venue for the engagement was their home. Only some relative and friends were invited. Dad wanted a grand party, but I wanted to spend some quality time with my cupcake as she would have to go to Canada to complete her studies.

There was still some time left, but I wanted to go away right now. Dad was also ready, but he didn’t want to go so early.

He said that we should not create problems by going early. I argued but failed.

I was getting ready. The gown I selected was just beautiful. My makeup and hair were done and I just had to slip into the gown.
