Chapter 108. Together in Sync

We had both come so far from where we started. From a chance encounter in a coffee shop to building an empire together, we had defied the odds and risen above our circumstances.

And through it all, our love had remained constant.

It wasn’t always easy, of course. There were times when we argued and disagreed on certain things. But at the end of the day, we always managed to work things out.

As we reached our doorstep, Riccardo turned to me and pulled me into a hug. “Thank you for everything,” he murmured into my hair. “I couldn’t have done this without you.”

I smiled up at him, cupping his face in my hands. “I love you,” I said, feeling my heart swell with emotion.

“I love you too,” he replied, leaning down to kiss me softly.

And at that moment, I knew that regardless of what happened in the future, as long as we had each other and our family, we could conquer anything that came our way.
