Enlightenment

As if moved by an invisible force she rose to her feet and clapped her hands once,

"Okay! You can go! When is the last date for registration? I'll get you money for the plane and your supplies," Becky said steadfastly.

"Um, it's today..."

Her spirits faded slightly, "Today?" she stammered.

"Yeah, today is for full scholarship recipients. If we go through today, we have to pay in full," said Phoebe a bit timidly. She knew her sister might be angry because they were in too much of a hurry.

Becky loosened her collar, feeling a little hot from being too surprised by Phoebe's words. But in the end, she just nodded, "Okay, how much does the registration form cost?"

"For the scholarship test? It's free! If we pass the test today, maybe we should fly to Europe next Monday," said Alex carefully.

"Next Monday? Do you mean in four days from now on?
