He now softly grasped my hand while gazing into my eyes with a questioning gaze, which caught my attention. He appeared to be trying to understand something that was being withheld since his glance was filled with inquiries. I sensed that our connection had changed when I found myself in this predicament.
I retorted angrily, "What are you doing?"
"Let go of my hand, and you shouldn't kneel in front of me with your interrogating eyes as if I'm the guilty here."
Hans said, "Look into my eyes."
"I don't want to look at you," I said as I averted my glance. His hand was still holding mine tenderly when I said, "I need some time alone right now."
The way Hans treats me definitely makes me think of Tony, my half-brother, who has always seemed to be my rock. Tony always gave me such great support and care, and he always made an effort to comprehend what was going through my head. Tony's experience looks to be extremely similar to Hans's present therapy in many aspects
