Gosh! What am I doing?

I came to my senses as I raised my face off him, waving my hand over his face in a sorry gesture. “I didn't mean to. Sorry. Something came over me!” I hastened over my words, afraid that he will see me in the badlight as trying to take advantage of him when he's still not fine.

“Why are you behaving so strange?” Eric managed to speak out before a hard cough set over him and he couldn't talk further. Once again, I rushed to get him some water and he pulled me back.
