Lucy's POV

“You know I met with Eric and he decided to send his parents away. It's now settled, I'll be the one to implement this soon mom.”

“What?” Mom jumped high up in ecstasy. “You don't mean it?” Her lips extended in a wide smile, her eyes glowed and she made a brief, exciting dance.

“Wow! This is my first time hearing it and it's such lovely news.” Caroline commented and I smiled. Soon I was seeing a situation where everything will be perfect in the estate and there would be peace and serenity. With Diane and Eric's parents off, everywhere was supposed to go this way.

My mom hurried out to spread the news to dad. I would be worried if I didn't know her personality but I was quite assured that she wouldn't let any other person get to hear of it.

“Let's go!” Caroline grabbed my hand. “We are choosing a beach resort for this date and if possible, we might spend the night there. How do you see it?”
