Lucy's POV 

“Ooh!” I nodded, flipping my fingers in a gesture for him to continue. I breathed out so hard, clutching my hands before me. If there were some issues, why did he leave in the morning? Did they reconcile all of a sudden?

Alpha Eric was now working on my hair, he looked through my face seeming a bit worried. “What are you thinking?” He asked me. 

“I'm just trying to wonder why you left that morning when you both were in an argument?” I was gonna go straight to the point and clear off the doubt which was lurking around. 

“We having a quarrel doesn't mean we broke up, besides we were still in the midst of achieving something from the relationship, which is having the general rank at a very young age.” He folded his lips. “I wanted to claim you and hope we will meet again some day. I guess we should forget about the past and look into the future.”
