Lucy's POV 

I forced myself to think that it was for the performance going on but when Eric released me, I was puzzled. The cameras were all on us and the attention. 

“Oh God!” I felt like I ought to disappear or the ground should just open up and swallow us. Eric smiled brightly at the camera. 

“Are you shy? Don't be shy.” He whispered into my ear. “It's part of letting the world know that we are a true couple. I want the Alpha to see this and know it's only I have in mind and no other.” 

My stiffness melted into a sweet smile upon realizing the purpose behind this act of his. I smiled even more, nodding my head before turning to the crowd to give a shy smile. We gestured on the paparazzis and the guests to keep the focus on the party.
