Melech’s POV 

I carried Bella into the bathroom and we hurriedly had our bath. "Baby, I have to go, it's almost twelve, goodnight and don't stay in the bath tub for long so you don't catch a cold. I will get going now."

"Goodnight honey." She replied and gave me a kiss. I left her in her room and returned to mine. I took a quick bath, changed into my night wear and prepared to call Bella. 

I called her a couple of times before she finally picked my call. She seemed to have dozed off after I dropped her in her room, we were already stressed up, so the probability of her remaining awake was slim.
