Chapter 53

Lucy's POV 

“Is that clear?” His cold, gentle voice re-echoed in the room sending chills down me. It was enough to remind me that he was actually the Alpha despite the series of amusing attitudes. 

“Yes Alpha,” I forced out of my mouth, nodding my head. I was equally cold and polite in my response. Eric grabbed my arm, turning me back to face him. Then he lowered his face bringing it close to me. 

“I want you!” 

“Huh?” 

I couldn't relate this request of his to anything, so I was a bit confused. He got to explain himself more. 

“I mean that you're the only woman I've ever loved in my entire life and I want to spend my forever with you.” 

I looked into his eyes to check out if he was just using the usual cliche but then his eyes burned with intense feelings, they were dull and darkened with want. I couldn't help but blush even as little tears formed in my eyes. 

“I wish you will al
