Bella’s POV 

With the rate of kidnapping no taxi driver is to be trusted. Things are always worse at this time.

He drove to our apartment, we rented it before we registered our marriage and we’ve been living here ever since we finished furnishing it. I agreed to come back with him because I didn’t want to lodge in a hotel and I canceled the rent to my own apartment. I had nowhere else to go and am not willing to compromise my safety and comfort for anything. 

When we got there I got down from the car and got my things out and moved them into the house.

“Thanks for the ride I appreciate, and there’s nothing to help me move my things. I can do that myself.” 

His expression wasn’t looking too good, first I thanked him which I have never done ever since we started dating, I was as if I was drawing a line between us and he didn’t like it and secondly I actually rejected his offer to help me move my things.
