Bella’s POV

I walked to the podium and stood right in front of Melech and he whispered into my ears.

“You look just like 10 years ago”

“Thank you, my Alpha,” is said in fake smiles.

“I would be more than pleased if this wasn’t a one-year marriage contract”

I saw what he tried doing so I waved off turning to Lord Agrippa.

“My Lord, we’re ready”

Lord Agrippa joined us together as man and wife and I felt caged once again. I felt pity on Melech seeing he wanted this and not just for the Alliance he would be having with the Flames pack once again, but for me. He smiled all through that day like that was actually the best in his life.
