Eric's POV 

“My friend, your majesty, you're here?” The Alpha stood up from the bed, grinning. His face glowed with radiance as he saw his friend. His partner in crime. I went backward with my mate giving them space, even when I pretended to be submissive, I was grunting badly in my mind. I hated to see them, they were such irritating figures to my eyes. 

“I heard you were sick?” The king began after exchanging pleasantries with my dad. I folded my lips with my heart panting figuring out what he was going to say next. The moment his face raised and shot through my direction, I looked away knowing the possible. 

“Isn't it my stubborn son!” He growled. “He wouldn't listen to me and do away with that irritating bitch of his whom he wants to make a Luna. Not in my pack!” 

“Alpha, why don't you just stop disrespecting me?” Lucy lashed out feeling me with a sudden shock, I tried to connect to her to keep silent since the king wa
