Lucy's POV 

“But I promise to disgrace the king and my parents, Amelia and Diane, all those standing on their site.” 

“What do you mean?” I asked with teary eyes. 

“The marriage will be a contract marriage and it will last for three months only, after which I'll accuse, divorce and kick her out of my pack. You will be my Luna forever. I'm going to marry and live with you happily, with our kids in this life, no matter if the entire world goes against us!” 

“Promise?” I asked, sticking out the little finger of my right hand. 

“I promise you with my life!” Eric responded, shooting a direct gaze at my eyes. His eyes were dull, teary and firm. One attribute I knew about him was a trustworthy attitude and he meant what he was saying now. 

I looked through Eric’s eyes, I blinked, sniffing. My wolf clicked with Eric’s wolf, they were embracing and reconnecting at this moment. I sensed strength filling into me
