“I didn't really send him on something but since Amelia and I are together and he's not with his mate, he decided to tour round the city. He told me he was born and raised here before leaving for Phoenix park.” 

I watched as the officer observed me scanning me with my head down and back up. It seemed he was taking note and assessing if I was telling the truth or not. 

“So why did he talk about you sending him?” 

“I asked him to use my credit card and get some special delicacies for us as he's returning, I later fell asleep at the lounge. Upon waking up hours later, he wasn't still back which got me panicked and I wanted to call, it's then I received the call to come to the lake.”
