"Coward," I spat, glaring at Nicholas as his jaw ticked.
"Watch your mouth," he warned in a flat voice, but unlike back at his cabin, I wasn't scared of him. Dorian had pumped into me another level of confidence I didn't have.
"Or what? Are you going to drag me out of the house to see a doctor? Well, be my guest; go on." I crossed my hands over my abdomen, tapping my foot on the area rug. Deep down, my chest was constricting as I struggled to push away his vile words that he had said to me after we had sex.
"Don't think for one second that I won't do that if by tomorrow I won't have them," he spat, making me tilt my head, trying to make sense of what he had turned into.
