"You haven't been yourself since I announced my marriage with Nora," Robert suddenly pointed out over dinner at his place, making me press my teeth tightly together. It was a miracle Allan hadn't told him yet about Eliana because they were always talking about me.
"What are you insinuating?" I snapped, dropping the fork on the plate with a clang.
"I am not insinuating anything, Nick; don't act all pissed off when I am just stating a fact here." I stiffened, praying on the inside for him to just let it go. Robert had always been a good brother, but a stern one at that.
