“What is the matter, Layla?” Justin was concerned at Layla’s sudden change of attitude.

“Samuel is missing, Samuel is missing,” she said, pacing around the room and panting heavily.

“Where could my son go? He is just two years old,” Layla said, crying.

“Where is Jennifer?” asked Justin.

“She is at the mall,” Layla replied.

“Let’s go there quickly and get more findings on the case,” Justin said as they carried Layla and rushed towards the car.

It was two weeks into her sprained ankle, and she was able to do some normal stuff, but he still didn’t want to stress her. Luckily for her, the men who tried to kill her didn’t hurt her leg.

They drove to the mall in silence. As they finally got there, Layla limped towards Jennifer angrily.

“What happened to my son?” she asked in an angry tone.

“I am sorry, ma’am. I was at home with Samuel when Mrs. Lockwood advised me to go out with the boy.

“I did not want to go, but she insisted.”<
