“I know about that because he was the one who told me about your evil scheme. How you had connived with the rogue leader to kidnap Milan in exchange for freeing his rogues.” Jake said, anger evident in his voice.

Talia’s eyes widened in shock at what she just heard.

Talia felt like the floor had been pulled out from under her. She had never expected that Alpha Scott would betray her like this.

“Alpha Jake I…can explain…” she stammered as she knew that she had been caught.

“There’s no explanation that can justify the wicked thing you did to Milan because you couldn’t control your jealousy and obsessive nature. You wanted Milan out of the picture and so you connived with my enemy to have my Luna kidnapped and now you tell me you want to explain...” he scoffed.

“I can’t believe you could do such a thing. I didn’t believe you could stoop so low to do such a thing.” he lashed out at her in anger.
