I could never have imagined that my sweetness would soon be over, and soon my days would only be bitter.

Two days before the trial, guard informed me that someone had applied to see me.

On the way to the meeting, I was excited and jumpy. I kept wondering who it would be—my parents, my boyfriend, or the lawyer they had hired for me.
