“If you say so,” He said as I heard his footsteps approaching. “The managing director of AllClear called. He said he hadn’t received anything. Why haven’t you sent the pitch to him yet? It’s been almost a couple of hours now. Time is running out. Are you facing some kind of challenge…?” 

  I squeezed my eyes shut and clenched my teeth so tightly my jaw throbbed. I was expecting he’d say that. Right now, I was risking a deal this huge because the brand management had given us more than enough time to work on the pitch and come up with a spectacular idea. They had even made the first instalment of the payment with the second to come after the pitch was approved. And trust me when I say it was no small money.
