Book 6: It's a Travesty

“I’m going to die!” I scream as Tristan and Mark lift me in their human forms to carry me up the stairs. Mark has my upper body, and Tristan has my lower body, and I feel like my middle is going to collapse on me as they hoist me up. I want to shout at Reece to support me there, but I don’t know where the fuck he went, and my contractions hurt so fucking bad, if I did see him, I’d probably punch him.

“It’s okay, gorgeous,” Mark says. “We aren’t going to let you die.”

“Go to hell, you asshole!” I shout, turning my head to try to look at him. The second my eyes settle on his blue ones, wide with concern, I begin to cry. “I’m so sorry, Mark!” I blubber. “I didn’t mean that. I love you so much!”

“It’s all right, baby,” he says softly. “I know you didn’t mean it. I love you, too.”
