"I asked you something, Alice" Aaron brings Alice out of her thoughts. She looked at him and then turned her face in another direction.

"Where would she be?" She muttered nervously and started preparing breakfast. Aaron sighed knowing that Alice is trying to shove Aana's topic away.

"You promise her to come soon" Rex snapped at his human. He was mad at Aaron for not returning home on time as he promised Aana.

"You talk to me after 24 hours only to sneer at me." Aaron frowned, seeing his wolf going crazy for Aana. Rex was not talking to him, since he messaged Aana that he will meet her at home. Rex didn't like the way his human made her wait and attained a stupid meeting. 

"It was not a stupid meeting" Aaron snapped at his wolf after hearing his thoughts. "It was an important meeting and I wanted to surprise Aana when this project would have been completed." Rex scoffed upon hearing his human's reason.
