Aaron encircled his hand around my waist to calm me through mate bond and somehow it worked. I looked at my mate before turning my head towards Monika who was looking at us with teary eyes. The way she was looking at us I could feel she was hurt and in pain. I recalled the incident when I entered this pack and how Monika asked Aaron why he rejected her proposal for me.
