Chapter 30. Burning Lust

She answered irritably, "What's wrong with you? You have the habit of messing up our simple conversation." 

Izabella was still astonished when he put his index finger to her lips to silence her. She gave the man a solemn look as her eyes expanded. 

He said in a small voice, "There's someone at the door." 

It would be futile if she turned around to see who was at the door because it was dark in her room. 

Aleksander muttered, "It's your stepsister." 

"She must be looking for you, I guess." 

Instead of responding, he drew her nearer to him. He kissed Izabella on her full lips, which surprised her even more. Aleksander's unexpected action momentarily immobilized her even when she heard the door of her room close again.
