Chapter 32. Jealousy Sparked

Izabella rode quietly beside Aleksander. He didn't budge as she glanced at his place. "Hey, guys!" Shanda greeted the two and quietly got into the car's back seat when both nodded. 

"Thanks again for the invite. How was the honeymoon last night?"

Aleksander pretended to cough before starting the car he was driving. 

"Why are you two so quiet?"

As soon as Shanda said, Izabella looked at the man beside him. "Hey, are you okay?"

"Are you?" Aleksander asked in response, glancing at her for a moment. "You looked flustered."

 "Yeah. Sorry, but I was thinking about what your stepbrother told me."

"What? Do you mean Jeremy, the panty-dropper is back?" Shanda asked. 

Aleksander raised his eyebrows at what she said before silently glancing at Izabella.

"Yes, your crush came last night," Izabella replied. "But he is no longer available because someone already owns his heart."

"Oh," Shanda sounded disappointed.
