My vision blurred red. "Asta, you are a priestess, damn it!" I growled. "You serve the Moon Goddess. "Beg her to save Emily! Don't let her die!"
She moved then. Not with fear, but with a terrifying, ancient stillness. She stopped inches from me, looking up with eyes that had seen centuries of death.

"What does that mean?" I squeezed my hands into fists.
