Chapter 132. Danger
At Aakifahlynn's raised eyebrow, Demarion went on, "Please allow me to explain fully before you go all crazy." Demarion cautioned, but he was educated enough to know that you do not call a woman crazy; however, he had no other explanation or way to describe her far-fetched reactions.
But he understood it. Aakifahlynn was severely hurt by those she trusted.
"But first, shall we go somewhere more comfortable where we can relax and talk about this?" Demarion asked, looking at their surroundings.
They were out by the lake, these beast-like creatures with them, and the sun was setting.
"No, tell me everything right now because I am not leaving this spot until you do," Aakifahlynn said, unfolding and folding her arms again. She was not moving from this spot until Demarion told her how the creatures came to be, her determination shining through.
