But she was not calming down.
Soon enough, the creatures were becoming agitated at her distress, and she, in turn, tried to calm them.
Even though she could only handle one on either side of her at a time, she soothes them as she pets their large heads. These beasts felt her distress and were getting upset, readying to strike whoever had caused her such grief.
But she could not contain her raging anger because she felt as if she was duped from the very beginning, and yet she tried to control her growing outrage because of her children, realizing she was affecting them.
It was all a lie. Aakifahlynn's magic suddenly started dancing at the tip of her fingers, and the anger and feeling of betrayal were yet again taking over her.
