Nadie had also taken her garments from the previous day; now, all Aakifahlynn had to worry about was that blanket. Meanwhile, she did a quick spell for it to be hidden in plain sight.

And she carried on, selecting her dress for the day from the closet, standing watching her shoe selection, deciding which to pick out, strolling over to her Victorian Chester drawer, she selected her jewelry.

She picked up a pair of earrings she thought would match her dress and held them to her ear while she modeled them in the mirror.

Aakifahlynn then sauntered to the bath area, all the while knowing full well her husband's piercing gaze was still on her. His eyes followed her every movement.

She called over her shoulder, "I am going to get ready for the day. Do you need anything, Jai?"

Jairus still stood looking at her, the same expression, with his eyebrows, pinched and eyes dimmed in suspicion. Still unable to get past her sudden boldness.
