Chapter 69. More Pressing Matters

Mrs. Arwen Thorin strolled across to her daughter and gently pinched her right cheek, "You could use some sunburn, honey... Tsk...You are too pale, sweetie." She continued to eye Aakifahlynn as she gently moved her face to the left and right. Concern graced her features.

Aakifahlynn had things to do and places to visit. She was happy that her parents would be occupied. Shaking her head negatively, she took one small step back, "No, you guys go and enjoy...Be sure to have your guards close by." Aakifahlynn advised.

Even though her parents were having fun, she wanted them to continue to exercise caution.

Mrs. Thorin reached for her again, kissed her forehead, and sighed. Her daughter's pale skin always bugged her. Worried that her daughter was sick.
